When storyboarding evolves?

I've been storyboarding for a while; sketching scenes that I haven't written yet so that I can remember them better later on, only to stall with the writing and enjoy the actual drawing more.
So now I've started to wonder if I shouldn't translate some of my stories into a graphic novel format. I've always wanted to try my hand at something like that, but always lacked the confidence in my ability. Now, however, I'm seriously thinking about giving it a go.
Now the only decision I need is whether to try something small and comic or for something bigger.

Thanks, Stormfeather.
On reflection, Harebrain, that's probably a good idea; start out small and work up to bigger things. I just need a theme (all of my story ideas have been lengthy). That'll come, I'm sure.
I do my storyboarding on paper, as I'm borrowing a computer at the moment - my old one succumbed to old age.Posted 17th March 2010 at 12:14 AM by Talysia

Wow. Cool idea, Taly. And since you have the talent, I definitely think you should give it a go. I used to draw comics as a kid, but I gave it up because I'm a terrible artist. Like, really terrible.
But I'd love to be able to draw. The sketches you've uploaded here are awesome. Let me know how you get on with it!

I will, and thanks for the compliment.
I've been sketching a bit, trying out different types of comic - one fantasy, one a comedic sci-fi amalgam, one based on a joke I heard a while ago... that sort of thing, but I'm thinking the sci-fi one might have a bit of scope. I just need to ink the first sketch, and I'll post it up in one of my albums.
