Happy thoughts

Posted 15th April 2013 at 04:53 PM by StormFeather

I'm barely here anymore - lurking rather than contributing anything useful - and it feels kind of sad, and I feel kind of guilty. And, when I have been around, it's to mope and share the darker, sadder things that have been going on, rather than look at the happier side of life.

So, now that we've finally got some sunshine, it's actually warm, and the kids are nearly back at school (we had an inset day today, and my son used this opportunity to accidently do a forward flip over the...

Posted 27th March 2013 at 10:41 AM by StormFeather

Posted 6th February 2013 at 09:21 PM by StormFeather

I have been so happy this week. I have taken on a former Naval Officer who is now the Bursar of the Grammar school behind my house, and I believe I've got the pompous man by the short and curlies as it were. (Long story)

Life for me and hubby has been improving. It was his birthday on Saturday, and we had a lovely time. Over the weekend he took our boy wonder to the driving range to give him the first taste of golf - and I believe we may need a second mortgage because of it one...

Oh, how time changes things.

Posted 1st February 2013 at 10:19 PM by StormFeather

This time last month was a pretty low point for me, as some of you are aware. I cannot emphasis enough how much your support meant, and means, to me.

A month on, and without really searching out options, things have come my way. On the 1st March, I've booked a stall at a Pamper Evening to try and sell some of my stuff.

Over the last couple of days, an advert has arrived for a 'Tonbridge Taster' day - where the high-street will be shut and local business and traders...
