Oh, I’m a real worry! Old age and forgetfulness seems to be the order of the day.

Not so long ago I hung my washing in the wardrobe to dry. Then just a few minutes ago the phone rang – so I picked up my coffee cup to answer it! Luckily the coffee had gone cold, as is usual, so at least I didn’t get scalded. I’m wondering what I will do next – any suggestions? Oh, that should read 'helpful and nice' suggestions, otherwise, who knows what suggestions I might reveive!

The Owl

One morning, I sat on a tree stump for about 15 minutes, looking up into the tree branches all around. I could hear an owl up there but could I see it? No! Oh well, at least I know there is one still in our neighbourhood, despite the encroaching new suburbs which are taking away the birds and animals homes.

Good Grief!

Another Blog!

There are other blogs I post on - MySpace, LiveJournal, 360Yahoo and now Facebook, a little difficult to keep up with them all though. I have made a few internet friends on these blog sites which is nice. There’s a Ranger and a teacher from Canada & a few from various states in America. Bits & Pieces

When did I start writing? When I was still at school, where my stories were mostly mysteries & which I myself solved! I was then rewarded with either an Alsation dog or Palamino pony! I wasn't quite as imaginative in those days!

I so loved to write with pen & ink, so much so that the pen nib usually wore out on one side, lending itself to a very nice italic script. I’m afraid these days it is a delicate biro that graces the pages of my hand written letters. Not so many letters...
