Oh, I’m a real worry! Old age and forgetfulness seems to be the order of the day.
Not so long ago I hung my washing in the wardrobe to dry.
Then just a few minutes ago the phone rang – so I picked up my coffee cup to answer it! Luckily the coffee had gone cold, as is usual, so at least I didn’t get scalded. I’m wondering what I will do next – any suggestions?
Oh, that should read 'helpful and nice' suggestions, otherwise, who knows what suggestions I might reveive!

| | Grief is rarely good; I trust the cup wasn't too full? Though I once knew someone who was doing the ironing whan the phone rang, and gave herself some nasty burns. |

| | Yeah. I've been known to try to use the fob that locks my car door to open the front door. No, not the key, the fob with the little buttons that locks and unlocks the car from a distance, with me trying to click the apartment door open. And I always feel really silly when I do that. Oh, and I've also tried to use the telephone instead of the remote to change channels on the television. Doesn't work. ![]() |

| | Oh Rosie and Miss I fear that its old age, did we forget things when we were younger? No I think not. I really feel though that it has something to do with "having children" They drain you of brain function and it takes years to get it back if you ever do!!! I usually ride my pushbike to work, but the other day had to bring one of the work cars home, so I left my bike locked up at work. I got up the next morning thinking someone had stolen it, however the whole time I was looking at the car I had brought home and did not connect the two. Duh. |

| | The cup wasn't hot Chris but there was still a lot of coffee left - before I answered it! I'm glad to see I am not the only one with similar problems LMA & Tanga! Old Age? What's that, Tanga? I seem to recall those two words from somewhere... but where? |

| | Well, in my case it can't be "having children", because I don't have any. And, I've always forgotten things and done silly things that make me look stupid, so I'm not even sure it's age. I think the problem for me, really has to do with always having my mind flying of somewhere, thinking about something else that I should be doing, or will be doing soon, or did recently. I really should be a professor, because I am horribly absent-minded and always have been. |
