Your writing and neuroscience.

Posted 11th June 2012 at 04:21 PM by J-WO (An on-line decline and fall...)

Over on my pal Damien Walter's blog I've gone and committed the act of guest post.

It's about the discoveries made in brain research and how it can help our novel/story writing. Get your scalpel and have a look over there!!!

Child Berth - 10 minutes of fun - 20 years of pain...

Posted 10th June 2012 at 09:23 PM by Gary Compton

I was watching the child birth doc on Channel4 and the woman about to give birth was quite emotional.

The pain is equivalent to getting a juggernaut through your front door - it needs a serious amount of structural re-arranging!

Anyway, her husband burst into tears as the little fella popped his head out. The midwife's eyes filled with joy, the mother bubbled, I started crying, even me tatoos were crying.

What a marvelous thing I thought, then I remembered...

Doctor Gary Dolittle...

Posted 26th May 2012 at 12:47 AM by Gary Compton

Okay it's Friday and its a family tradition to try and have an easy day and get on the drink as soon as possible.

So around 2Pm my fat arse landed on my seat at my garden table and 4 cans of lager magically appeared in front of me. The ball and chain was there, having a tab and doing a Gary impression by drinking my amber nectar.

Fab day!

Posted 12th May 2012 at 11:28 PM by StormFeather

So, it's been a while!

Life is ridiculously busy right now. I have so many creative projects on the go that I'm not finishing any of them, and am going to start getting into the world of quilting, as I start a course on Thursday. My head is spinning with how much I should be doing.

So, for now, I'm concentrating on the day-to-day stuff. And today was great!

Hubby isn't playing football on Saturday's anymore, so we had the whole day together as a family....
