OK I'm lazy but I do have a lot of ideas floating round my head. It is time I think I started putting them into words. If I do it here rather than on critics only those who really want to read what I write will need to be subjected to it rather than inflict everyone with my inane ramblings
Mind you how many ideas are my own and how many are long forgotten reads I'm unsure.
I think I'll make my first piece historical rather than pure fiction.

Whatever you want. If you want to rant about politics, comment on something in the news, muse about how much better life could be if the damned computer worked all the time rather than when it feels like it, plug your writings, then do so. It's like making a thread to let people know your opinions.
There's no one way to do it - every single blog on the intarwebs is different. Think of it as an extension of your mind.Posted 2nd August 2008 at 04:41 PM by Lenny

Write about the things that interest you, topics that might not fit in so neatly on any of the forums, but that you want to talk about.
It's also a good place to discuss some of the things in your personal life that you might not have posted on the forums, because you didn't think people would be interested. But the people who read your blog are interested in you. They want to know what nixie is doing, thinking, feeling, experiencing ... If we didn't want to know we wouldn't be reading.
So tell us as much or as little as you like.Posted 2nd August 2008 at 07:08 PM by Teresa Edgerton

History
Recently I've been thinking a lot about UK history. Every where you look there are books on history of England but rarely it seems do we see a history of Scotland or Wales. At times it seems they didn't exist before the Act of Union.I know most people are aware of William Wallace, Robert the Bruce etc but how many people outside of Scotland are aware of the circumstances leading up to it.
Take Queen Elizabeth, she is referred to Elizabeth II but she is only Elizabeth II of England not the UK
It has got me to thinking that maybe I should investigate further. There is a rich tapestry of history waiting to be brought to the eyes of the world.Posted 3rd August 2008 at 11:37 AM by nixie
