I'm banging my drum about this one elsewhere on Chrons but I think it bears repeating.
What would you say if I told you there's a respected SF short story competition, the administrators of which have been accused of holding people against their will and mentally and physically abusing them? Would you still send your stories to them?
It's strange that our SF fiction community is so unwilling to face something so uniquely dystopian...
