J-WOfer! (By which I mean a twofer involving J-Wo... erm... no, doesnt work does it?)

Hello!

Firstly, heres a short tale I was asked to write for a Leicester Council website as part of their literature festival. It's easily the second weirdest story I've ever wrote- its certainly not typical of what I do. I'm surprised the council have took it so well, actually. They could easily have took offence.

Also, they've gone and put my name in the same font etc as the story's title, so it looks like I'm involved in the tale, or at least in finding the tale. I find this delightfully post-modern and I hope no one changes it.

Secondly, I've done another post on that Orson Scott Card fellow. Last one, I swear. Any more and its technically stalking.

    Wow, they certainly could have.

But it's an excellent story. Weird in a good way.

Although my mind is boggling at the thought of what your #1 weirdest story must have been like.

Wow. Frog Island (note caps), the Clock Tower and the Mercury all getting a mention. Makes me come over all nostalgic.

And that will teach them to ask for a short story from you! I just hope no one tries to re-enact the... er... procedures in real life...
