...to my garage.

My cunning plan to free up more writing time has come to fruition. I'm refurbishing and making shabby chic tables and chairs in my spacious 3-car garage with associated utility room and state of the art finishing shed.

It's all been fitted out with a cabinetmakers benches storage etc and the first few table sets have come off the production line.

I now spend the first 3 hours of the day writing and then do my woodwork, with coffee...

Compton’s dummy lands safely at Blyth International Airport…

Okay so I spat my dummy out a month ago and apparently it was spotted by astronauts at the International Space Station.

The wife says I was menstrual which according to my mother, it runs in the family. The male Compton’s, allegedly, have an occurrence like this every 54 years.

So, it’s a medical fact. Phew I thought I was nuts.

I remember once taking the micky out of someone who did the same and thinking what a silly billy. I would never do that!...

Fate intervenes... again!

You may wish to check out the BAWLB website for a story that'll warm the cockles of your heart - if you have one.

I say this as I know for a fact a few people here are powered by micro-engineering, complex software and robo-chocolate.

Night Owl seen tucked up in nest with hot water bottle...

Posted 18th January 2013 at 10:16 PM by Gary Compton

As everyone knows I go to bed around 1-2AM.

It's 10ish and a blizzard is blowing outside. Even with my heating blasting, 2 dogs either-side and the real fire burning. I'm still freezing my nuts off.

I don't usually feel the cold so I've just made myself fish and chips, poured myself a very large whisky, and I'm going to bed.

Even the dogs will get blankets over them tonight.

If we had hash tags on Chrons it would be #endoftheworld...

That's right. If it wasn't for the support of the bookshops and the libraries us writers would be nothing.

Depending when you view, you may need to scroll down my timeline. Librarians are everything!!

Check this out!

If you are easily offended go here instead
