oops. i've got 3 unfinished novels, and zero inspiration. the cupboard is likewise bare for short story ideas.

time to start carrying those notepads around again, i think.

Oh yes. Absolute writing machine at the moment, in part due to having a really enjoyable short story to work on (it finished at 13700 words, so hardly short), and in part due to the target I've set myself: I need a convalescence gift for Mother Chopper, who has a forthcoming hip replacement op. A private Lulu binding of all my finished short stories should go down well with someone who habitually reads 2 books a week (and fostered my own love of reading at that).

So I've got one more...
