Unfortunately, it looks like Pantechnicon has been targeted by hackers again. The site no longer appears on any Google searches, and even hitting the domain directly only results in a 404 error. A shame, as it means that This Place Sucks has no place to erm.... suck. As it is nigh on 12 months since Pantechnicon first took the story, maybe it is time to search for a "reprint" home....

Okay, as promised in the last batch of blogging, everything that I've had rejected recently is back out in the ether. Just gotta wait....

Oh well, it was going to happen sooner or later. The good part of this is that constructive criticism came back with the rejection, so Cold Snap, just like Steve Austin and Jamie Sommers, can be rebuilt, stronger and faster than ever before.

The good news is that 2 more short story ideas have popped up - it has been a nasty, stress-filled few weeks, and I'm glad for the diversion. So now I have The Patched Warrior and The Resistance (no, not Muse-inspired) to work on as well as the 3 unfinished novel-length projects. Spoiled for choice now!

well, there goes another one, out into the ether. with What Goes Up, This Place Sucks and That Sinking Feeling all taken on, Occidental Tourist and Clockwork Eyeball more suited to alternate-world collections, and Rent, Winter Road and Cold Snap all out on submission, that means the only completed short story i haven't yet done anything with is The Fashion. i'm not convinced it is ready for sending out yet, so I'm going to sit on it for a while and see how i feel about it closer to Christmas....
