Generally, it's fair to say that I write far better than I draw. Even digital enhancements and super-fantastic-draw-it-for-you programs give results that look like monged spider-walking when i use them. So the prospect of designing a cover for the first volume of The Empire Dance - now on 40k with the finish line in sight - fills me with dread. i can't do heroic vistas or stunning flights of fancy. i can just about do stick men.
So i've been looking at other covers, to draw inspiration, and...

Yeah, these titles are getting harder to come up with.

but, here we go.

1. Finish either Malessar's Curse or Empire Dance Vol.1
2. Exhaust all submission possibilities for the current crop of short stories
3. Go to at least one convention.
4. Get the hell outta Meadowhall
5. Get Championship Manager working on the Linux-powered Acer Aspire One I'm currently using.

I didn't bother watching the England friendly last night. Friendly games just don't appeal to me. I could have put a few hundred more words down, but i was too knackered, so i just vegetated with Championship Manager instead (2008 version still - I can't make this year's edition run on the Bloody Stupid Thing).
