Tags about me, hello world, writing
Well, hello there; not too sure if this is going to garner any viewers, but it looks like fun, and I'll add it to my ever-growing collection of half-arsed blogs'n'such.
The name's Callum, although I write under the moniker C. Michael MacAlister because it sounds pretentious and that's just how I roll, baby. I write weird SF-F, which fall into the broad classification of "surrealist-alternate-history-alternate-physics-fantastic-Science-fiction", which is to say it's odd stuff.
I've written 2 full-length novels, Though The Brightest Fell and The Quintessence Machine, for which I am trying to find a home. The second novel is much better than the first, so I'm keeping my fingers crossed, despite the drawback that it's just shy of 300K words long.
Right now, I'm raising my sons, keeping my wife as happy as possible and writing my third novel, which pushes the boundary of "weird" back even further than even I thought I could.
