Moving forward

A noise outside, oh it's just the police
why they have there siren's so loud?
Children laughing, dog's are barking
Oh great the season's changed at last.
Sun is shining, new hope for all,
begin again, let the past be in the past
The warmth of the sun, makes me smile
close my eyes and think of the sea
The sound and smells are all new to me
peace in my heart, a song on my lips
to bad I am here alone, none to share
the life I lead, none to see me smile.
But I will go to the park and watch the
children play, feed the ducks, and think
of May, new goals, move forward, ever
forward and watch the skies.
