Ok, I found the entry. I have the hardback version so on page 325, the second Arya chapter, she is in the Temple and she sees "The fat fellow, who had fierce black eyes, a hook nose, and a wide mouth full of yellow teeth." She then talks about other visitors and describes them. She also makes note of how the fat fellow and and the "squinter" come together to the Temple.

Now, once again, I could be entirely going the wrong way with this Mopatis theory, but it was the one that popped into my head so ... talk amongst yourselves now. :P
