Stupid Fitz, I thought he might finally get to be with Nettle after Chade said the Queen has ordered her and Thick trained for the Prince's journey to slay the dragon. Obviously Fitz doesn't want that, he wants to keep her away and protect her from such a life. I was hoping that that perfume that he smelled when in the secret ways in the castle that's suppose to bring good dreams or whatever might have trapped him in Nettle's dream the next time he slept and he'd be forced to talk to her then. Figures he has to come up with a promise for the queen to leave her alone if he becomes skillmaster. Oh well, back to reading, on page 391. |
