| Need help finding a book Years ago I read a SF book - short story it was - I think............. Can't remember the title or author. But the plot has stuck in my mind. I'll describe the plot here and if anyone has any idea what story it was PLEASE let me know - Its driving me crazy not remembering. Synopsis follows A young man commits a crime and the authorities put a mental block in his mind so he cannot remember the crime. THey then put him in the charge of another young man who rehabilitates him. He becomes an upstanding citizen and then the authorities unblock his mind as he can now appreciate the gravity of his crime. His 'punishment' is to take another young criminal under his wing and rehabilitate him. Does this ring any bells???????????????????????? Will be eternally grateful! |
