To be honest the battle scenes in the film, although technically very well done, bored me quite frankly. Too many silly stunts that took the drama right out of the moment. Examples such as Legloas using a a shield as skateboard, Aragorn "drawf-tossing" Gimly at the Main gate of HD; Legolas again climbing up, over and jumping off the tusk of that oliphant etc. Plain silly really |
