I was told by my doctor that I had to give up the cigarettes on Thursday night! I was also told that there surely couldn't be anymore hassles. I get back to my home unit to find two very large bills to be paid next week - we won't count the ones I already have OK, so no smoking from Friday night. Had a terrible weekend - give up smokes on Monday night then!
Just went outside to smoke my last ever cigarette when I noticed a gang on youths climbing over our complex wall and then start trying to break into our cars. Just as I was calling the police, I heard someone climbing over my courtyard gate and try my front door Of course the police arrived after they had gone (we really need a lot more police). So, Tuesday night will be the night to give up cigarettes! |
I just gave the ciggies up again, I had been off them for ages but got lazy and the 'odd one' had gotten less and less odd. I hate to throw in an ad but I did find a book by Allen Carr was brilliant for getting me in the right frame of mind to quit.
My sympathies to everyone who's had things stolen/damaged lately
