It all depends on who the artist is. I agree for the Steven Erikson books, the US covers are not very good (being tactful here). OTOH, there are some US covers that are really great, so it depends on the artist involved whether or not I like the UK covers or the US covers. As far as I'm concerned, anything by Michael Whelan is great. I also like Jody Lee's work. |
