Actually, it was simply "The Captain" when he was the leader of the mercenary company in Novindus, because that's how they addressed the leaders of the various mercenary companies which were common there.
It's been a while since I've read the Serpentwar books. Right now, I'm re-reading the Empire series that takes place on Kelewan, focusing on Mara of the Acoma. I'll probably jump back to the Riftwar after I finish this because they parallel each other, so I'm dying to go back and read that again, so that probably means it'll be a while before I work my way back up to serpentwar. |
