Listen to Haake. Neil Peart solo's better but Meshuggah's standard drum parts in songs (New Millenium Cyanide Christ) rock my world and it's not speed - it's polyrhythms still with fast footwork.
Carrey is rapid though but Peart prolly kicks both due to greater complexity, and being him!
Yeah I'd take Clapton over either but.... Or Frusciante - a musical soul. |
