Re: Reading Disasters

I like to be punctual for appointments, so am always ready with plenty of time to spare. That is until I pick up my book...not sure how many appointments I have missed that way!
I could have sworn I was only reading for five minutes

Re: Reading Disasters

Fell asleep in bath after long, hard day at work - woke up in ice-cold water with all 300+ pages of brand new copy of Going Postal floating around me.

Re: Reading Disasters

Oh that is a disaster...!

At least my book survived in tact, even if my pride didnt.

I too have fallen asleep in the bath with a book, luckily my book had fallen over the side of the bath.

Re: Reading Disasters

Hmm, I don't think I've had any disasters as such, I do tend to ignore people unintentionally and like nixie, people know that to get my attention you need to form some sort of obstacle to my reading...

I have once looked up from a book, wondering why my little boy was so quiet to find that he's drawn all over the carpet - this happened just a couple of months ago, took me ages to get the ink and chalk and crayon out of the carpet and it wasn't just a little bit, oh no, my 3 year old did it in style and covered half the living room with his multicoloured swirls!!!

xx

Re: Reading Disasters

Definitely the most painful is walking into a lamp-post while reading...ow ow ow!
