Re: Post your Pic! I don't know how our tech advisor talked me into wearing that baseball cap the day this picture was taken...(lol) We publish sci-fi and a few other genres in six-by-nine format. I could not find a spot on the forum to post up this information, and especially about our new paying print magazine: Escape Velocity. Maybe Brian will figure it out and move this post elsewhere. My apologies! Adventure Books of Seattle

Re: Post your Pic! Maybe you could post some of the covers of what you publish in a member's gallery? The cover art looks stunning on Escape Velocity. Is that slightly pudgey kitty a tabby brand of Abyssinian? What's her/his name?

Re: Post your Pic! Owner-like-pet so they say ha ha! My nick name is sometimes ferret, I know I look a bit like one. I tend to **** (shall I try tilt?) my head and move a bit birdish, habit one can say.

Re: Post your Pic! Off-topic, but I have a question: I've noticed use of asterisks when use of that word would be perfectly proper; after all, it has several non-profane uses (male chicken, to set a triggered weapon in firing order, to -- as you noted here -- tilt at an angle, etc.); so why the avoidance of a perfectly legitimate word? Reminds me of when they actually took Websters Dictionary out of use in a certain school system briefly because of "offensive language" in the entry "ball". Isn't this taking things a little bit too far? Or am I just seriously behind the times on this? Oh, and nice picture, by the way.
