| Re: Post your Pic! I don't know how to do this, despite all the kind advice from everyong. I am trying to post a pic of Mickokent, my hairy son, partaking of the Christmas cheer. I don't think its come out however. |

Damn, I was hoping to get an autograph...still you've got the whole "Terminator" thing going on in pic number 2. I don't think there are any Sarah Connors on the forum though.... | |

| Re: Post your Pic! Yeah, long hair isn't much in style these days, is it? It's not much of a problem to take care of. Mostly the drag is watching about catching my hair on everything when I wear it unbound rather than how much time it costs to brush & wash it, etc. If you want to grow your hair long, that's one of the secrets - cut it in a shag to start with, which is like cutting it off straight when your head is upsidedown. Then you can cut it yourself instead of letting someone else give you "just a trim." One of the reasons your hair doesn't get longer is because blunt cutting makes the ends of your hair damaged when you brush it. Also, you can learn to brush the ends first and work your way up, etc. There are many more secrets to having really long hair... My hair grew down to my knees before it got to be too much of a hassle; I chopped it back off to my waist where I've kept it for while just from the sheer weight of it on my head when I tied it up. Down to my knees was about four feet of hair because most of my 6' of height is in my looong thighs! ;o) |

| Re: Post your Pic! Your hair looks healthy and silky, and heavy. When I had hip-length hair (not nearly as long as yours ) I found that having to tie it up all the time hade my head hurt.I've posted a million pictures of myself. When my dad got a digital camera at Christmas (last year) my life became difficult for a bit. My mum and dad would come right up to my face and flash the thing in it, first thing in the morning, in the day when I was unawares, when I was reading, when I was sleepy... The result 2X10e27 overexposed photographs of me in various stages of vague. So: http://www.geocities.com/grownupportraits/ I quite enjoyed the attention at first. Then I got tired of those purple ghosts you see after the flash. |
