Actually I was doing a friend a favor. She was upsetwith her boyfriend and was going to her aunt's rather than home after work. I went by to let her dog out. The dog is about thirty pounds and low to the ground. Not finding her leash, I tried to lead the dog by the collar to her chain outside. As we walked out the door onto the back deck, the very excited animal managed to completely disrupt my balance causing me to do a header into one of the deck support rails. Wood, fortunately. There was a perfect imprint of the board in the swelling for about three days. Fortunately the skull is the hardest bone in the human body.
