Re: Season 2 Episode 9

Thanks Darrell, you were correct I was wondering who administered the blood, not whose blood it was. When I wrote that, I forgot that Mohinder’s blood was also used to help people so it was an easy misunderstanding. If it turns out to been somes plan all along to kill Bennett and bring him back that could be cool. Now... wait. . . is there a time limmit on the bloods resurection properties? I guess a corpse would still have to have veins but that just. . . like could they bring back DL? I thought his death was pointless. Or bring back anyone. . . You know, suddenly I'm very affraid for Claire, think of all the people that would want to get their hands on her if they knew.

This is what I like about the show, talking and guessing what comes next and how things work. Although it’s hardly based on any science, still comic book type powers usually adhere to some kind of rules and I always have questions. Like is the flying ability and telekinesis really the same power just used different ways? The illusion girl that Sylar killed seemed to just have a variation of mind control that Parkman’s dad could do. I wonder if they are just aptitudes within the same broad skill of influencing other minds. Like exercising some muscles more than other, maybe Haitian has the same basic skill but there is only so much time to practice the different incarnations of mind control.

I’ll use Elle from now on, I could have used “lightning girl” but I was just thinking about how she played the vixen character w/ peter. I think she might end up being one of those pivotal characters that has a change of hart and does the right thing at some point.

I think Bennett’s motivation is clear now so I think he is someone you could trust as long as you have Claire’s best interest at heart. He’s decided to protect his family (and Mr. Muggles) at all costs, that’s what makes him dangerous; he has no trouble crossing moral lines if it will protect his family (reminds me of a current president. . . another thread, I know. F.Y.I. I don’t trust Buba Clinton either).

It would be nice to see Peter unleashed. I think what he needs more than anything is practice. It can’t be easy juggling all those powers. It seems many characters are still learning how their powers work when they only have one. I think peter is in danger of going Schitzo. If I were writing a show I would like to lead up to a scene where Peter single handed takes on an army or something. We saw some of that in with the future Peter.
