The blood had to be Claire's, Adam's, or the blood of someone new like them who hasn't appeared yet. Theirs can heal injuries and diseases in general; Mohinder's is non-superpowered and only good for the diseases that he's had and survived, like mine or yours, which doesn't cover gunshots through the eyes.
I don't really think there's a third character like Claire and Adam being introduced now, so... If it had been Claire's blood, then she, her mother, and/or West would probably have been there to talk to him immediately and the room probably would have been a hospital room or someplace else more "cozy" like a home or hotel. So I figure the empty industrial-like setting tells us it was Adam's blood in some secret hideaway.
