Empress Ouriána.

This is more of a discussion thread, so there's a possibility of spoilers. There shouldn't be anything too major though, since the topic hasn't really happened.

I was just thinking: what do you think would be happen if the Empress is killed? The death of a wizard does a lot, as we see in the first few pages of the first book, but considering how powerful Ouriána is (And I beleive she grows stronger? Or was it she keeps tampering with different types of magic), wouldn't her death possibly mean the world being effected again? And, as far as we know, Winloki dying could mean the same.

Or not. I'm just speculating.

Now that is a very good question. I don't want to give anything away, or say something that might discourage free speculation on this topic (because I would be extremely interested to hear what other people think), but I will just mention that you have come very close to some of the central issues that arise in the next two books. Very close.

Only about a hundred pages in but I think if Ouriana dies the effects on the world would be catastrophic
