| Re: 500 years later... Gardan certainly should be remembered, but I doubt that 500 yrs later he would be. History has a nasty habit of forgetting 'sidekicks' and attributing all the glory to the top dog. For example, who remembers Churchill's or Roosevelt's chief advisors?
The info is there if you want to look for it, but it won't be on the tip of everyone's tongue like those two names, and that's only been 50 yrs or so. And if humanity survives another 450 yrs (unlikely) even they may have been forgotten. |
