| Conflicting Time Periods
I'm writing a story (epic fantasy) now and I have a dilemna with time periods/technology.
Could a "swords and magic" era exist at the same time as an "industrial" era in the same world?
Different civilizations have different rates of evolution, but would my story still be serious, for example, if trains and airships are used in one part of the world and catapults, trebuchets, and medieval combat are stilled used in another?
Would I be able to equip certain weapons such as muskets or cannons? |
