| The Wicked Sword Maiden  | SwanCon 2006 Our Australian author, Cecilia Dart-Thornton will be attending SwanCon Convention on the 3rd - 6th March. I just hope I haven't left if too late to get a ticket. This will be my first Convention I have attended and am really looking forward to it. Prior to this, Ms Dart-Thornton will be booksigning and chatting at Dymocks Bookshop in one of our large Shopping Centres. So, I shall have to buy a copy of Volume 2 of The Crowthistle Chronicles. She is also attending The University of Western Australia's Perth International Arts Festival. There she will be giving/participating with other authors (doesnt say in her newsletter) in The Words & Ideas Programme, which would have been marvellous to go to. However, this coincides with the weekend I am spending in Melbourne with some friends from our very own SF & F.  I expect she will come over here again, so the trip to Melbourne certainly gets priority  |

| Re: SwanCon 2006 Yep as you know Rosemary I've met and had my Bitterbynde books personally signed by Cecilia. She's a very nice and approachable lady and she's certainly getting more into the Multimedia apsect of publishing witness her free CD aviailable with book 2 of the Crownthistle tetraology. I've got it and it's not bad... You can tell us all about your expectations for the SwanCon when we meet in Melbourne..... A convention virgin hey?.....  |
