| Who is Erkanwulf? Because I have dragged out reading this series for a hell of a long time, I have no idea who this man is. Reference is made to him as if i should know him, but for the life of me I can not recall who he is. Please can somebody put me out of my misery. |

Before entering the Crown Liath (me thinks but may have been Hanna or Rosvita) has one of those flashes that they all seem to have that incorporates all of the main cast and there weird and wonderful locations. In she sees Erkanwulf and exclaims 'Erkanwulf' what is he doing blah blah balah... Perhaps Alia can help me. Otherwise I am lost... |

Okay Erkanwulf is a soldier in Autun where Captain Ulric is. Why Hanna (or Rosivita) sees him, I don't know. What's the page number of which book and let me see if I can remember. I can also ask my friends.  |

I don't think the sceen you are referring too is about him necessarily but rather about Constance and what was going on with her. She is a major player but isn't shown to be one as much. I think the dream or vision was meant to show that she was being placed under guard by Sabella. Is this what happen? | |

| Re: Who is Erkanwulf? Well... In the back of In the Ruin, there is a list of all the characters and it listed Erkanwulf as a soldier in Autun. I don't remember him being in Gent, not that this isn't possible, but many of the characters moved around after the battle of Gent with the Eika. Also, just a little note, Captain Ulric was just mentioned in the Crown of Stars book and he is with Constance. |

| Re: Who is Erkanwulf? Another note, Erkanwulf and Ivar are good friends. Im wondering if he is one of the orginal 7 that were with Ivar when they were down in the queen's grave. I ran across his name last night while reading which is why I bring this up. |
