I'd always thought Gemmel's books would make good movies. He's got vivid, larger than life characters and he's done a very good job with descriptions.
His plots and people, like Lord of the Rings also seem to fit with the troubled times of today.
It would be wonderful, personally, to see movies like this again but as has already been said here they would have to be done well and stay true to the spirit of the books.
Actors would have to be found that match up to being a Legend for instance.
It's not impossible. Lord Of The Rings is a good example of what can be done. I'd like to see his books on the silver screen, starting with Legend. |
