Re: Supernatural

Am indeed!

Don't know how but I missed the episodes after the truck hit the car and Sam was dying etc, but seen all the rest.

The last episode I saw was the one where the victims of evil came back to kill the hunters. I'm about to watch the most recent episode (Sky+).

I have always thought this series to be a quality one (and am looking forward to the angels storyline).

Re: Supernatural

yay!

I admit that I am up to date with US pace, but that's because I am impatient.

The whole arc this series has been really good-lots of interesting little subplots and the whole angel thing is..

well, tell me when you have seen it and we'll talk.

Re: Supernatural

This show is absolutely awesome!

My favourite show.

Me and a friend of mine are meant to be going to Canada in July!
We are gonna beg a place on the show as Sam and Dean's British counter parts. HAHA that would be awesome.

Just finished watching it. I was surprised on the subject of who exactly was the hunter! (Don't want to say anything in case others have still to watch it). I did enjoy the background insight though.

Re: Supernatural

Hmmm, they are filling in the old back story nicely, which considering how many series so far in we are, is pretty cool. The initial idea gave them scope to do that I guess but I am glad the writers have been patient and only started to employ the back story device now, when it is actually relevant rather than as filler earlier in the series.

Shows patience, of which I have none, and I applaud it.

The show is also getting funnier. In a good way!

I think this series, like the others is very good indeed. And the Angel storyline is inspired! Say no to harps and halos! Tee hee!

Re: Supernatural

This season has REALLY hit it's stride.
I think the weakest episodes so far were around the middle of series 2, now almost every episode is a hit and it has some interesting larger plots going on.

Reminds me somewhat of Angel/Buffy now, just a bit gittier. (that's a compliement, those shows had good writing).

Re: Supernatural

The power behind Supernatural is the story arc. The boys have joined the big league this year. Season 4 rocks!

Re: Supernatural

Episode: Family Remains

Holy CRAP!

I'm a big tufty bloke but I just had the bajesus scared out of me with the latest episode, a-la people under the stairs!

SPOILERS to follow....

I hate suspense, mainly 'cause I've got to watch, but don't want to, but got to aaarghhh!

People running through the house, popping out of closets, looking like something from 'The Ring'.
The last few series had a couple of comical episodes but the boys are back to form with this chiller of a story.
Worst part: where the girl's in bed with hand hanging over the edge, thinking the dog is licking her hand. It ain't the dog!

Re: Supernatural

That episode scarred me for life.

I swear, when her brother came out from under the house, I jumped eighty feet.

I mean..it was just horrible. And scary.

Re: Supernatural

I don't know but I think the girl scared me more.

Kids and demonic possession etc scares the crap out of me. Weird clowns (Stephen Kings IT) does the same.
I guess it's innocence being tainted or subverted. I just saw an advert for the film The Children.

There's not a chance I would watch anything like that.

Re: Supernatural

Did you see the Supernatural killer clown episode yet?

Yeah, I don't like clowns. They are creepy.

PS: And I always kinda liked Dean better, but in this last season Sam has the whole darkside jedi powers, and thats kinda hot.
