It lends weight to the importance of Alain... I think there is a noticeable age gap between alain and sanglant so that rules out a possible mix up... Thats not including the telltale Aoi coloring of Sanglant...
As for deeper meanings I would be likely to believe that Rose was a sleeper and Alain was one of the tools they were going to bring into the world to combat Sanglant... |
