Gollum's probable marital status aside, there's nothing obvious about it. Some of us marry people who are just as addicted to books as we are.
It comes in handy when you realize you need more bookshelves. (Because -- though I've never tried it -- trying to sneak an entire
bookcase into the house has got to be very, very difficult.)
