Re: Season 2, Episode 1

"Flying is too cool so they put it in"

Absolutely, there will be alot of similar powers, all the best ones come out quickly.

I was watching the episodes on BBC3 as well, and Christopher Eccelson's character, the invisible man, actually says "oh one of those" when peter tells him "I can do what you do"

So that would lead me to conclude that Invisible man has met another Empath (he refers to this later on in the episode) or heard of one and also that he has heard of or met alot of other 'heroes' and sees peters obvious advantage of being an empath as something less than usual.

the way they deal with and treat Claire's regeneration (it is referred to by suresh snr in his book) its as if it is a common ability, flying also. Bending time and space is a bit more unusual, so is talking to machines, and turning things to gold. but super stength and phasing, telekenisis are among the common powers in this types of fiction.

I keep wanting to list the powers we've seen
please humor me!

Flight
super Strength
Regeneration
Talking to machines
Phasing
Tracking Device
Melting Objects
Telekenisis
Empath
Mind reading
Mind numbing(haitian) - not sure what we'd call it
super hearing
persausion(spelling)
invisibility
Healing(Linderman)
prophetic vision
electromagnetic radiation
bending time and space
Turning things gold
mexican bleeding eyes thing

Ok, that's me done for now, here's a challenge for you, explain the basis of each power, and add any I've forgot
