| Re: The Valonqar It is not known. What is known is that Cersei thinks the Valonqar is Tyrion. If the Valonqar is Jon, then my crackpot ideas are right and Aerys fathered almost as many bastards as Robert. Uh, but I think the leading (and possibly only) candidates are Tyrion and Jaime. |

Actually, did Maggie mention whose younger brother it would be? I don't think so. I just remember her saying THE Valonqar, not YOUR. hmmmm. here I go again. Wouldn't is be ironic if Rickon as Shaggy Dog, or Bran as Summer, ended up ripping Cersei's throat out.

| Re: The Valonqar No need to apologize, I should have a better grip on your posts by now. It's just that it was in respone to Alexisonfire's very first post... I just posted on Why say Tyrion's a Targ? that I cannot keep all the postulations, prognostications, crackpot theories, and jokes straight anymore. It's all too confusing... |

I'm going to make a personal appeal to GRRM to get it done. Maybe he'll listen

| Re: The Valonqar No, don't harrass the man. Let him live in peace. I believe that the more normal of a life that he lives, the better he'll cope with this monster of a tale in the long run. I hope he has a great time watching the Super Bowl with his friends. I hope he takes long naps on the couch. I hope he holds hand with Parris on evening walks. |

| Re: The Valonqar I am currently doing a re-read of AFFC in advance of ADWD coming out. The book is even better the second time around. Anyways, in Cersei's first chapter of AFFC when she is woken after Tywin was assassinated, she refers to Tyrion as her Valonquar twice. Once at the beginning of the chapter and once at the end. I will keep a running tab as to whether or not Valonquar is mentionned again. |

| Re: The Valonqar The wording of the prohpeccy is THE Valonqar, not YOUR Valonmqar. The could mean any younger brother, Tommen for instance, or Rickon in the shape of Shaggy Dog, etc. The point is, it doesn't have to be Jaime or Tyrion. |

| Re: The Valonqar I know it could be any little brother, but I rather like the irony if it were Jaime. Cersei has focused on Tyrion ever since she heard this prophecy, and never once considered her other brother (though, why should she?) My second choice is Lancel, since he found religion. Maybe he's a brother of the faith, or something. I still want it to be Jaime though! |
