As for Erikson, I am almost finished Gardens of the Moon and agree with Wiggum's assessment. If you can get past the first 1/3 or so of the book, things fall into place better and I am enjoying it. I do admit, it is taking a hell of a long time to read it though. |
I agree whole heartedly and this is pretty much where I'm at.
often when I really love a book I find it hard to put down and then I pick it up again as soon as i can so I can see what coming next!. with GotM it's been more of a "okay, lets do some more reading" kind of literary experience, though it has been getting better the further I trudge into it, and I'm pretty happy that I've stuck with it as it's starting to pay off.
