Basically the Pantathians betrayed the Saaur by using them as their muscle to destroy the Kingdom, so they could get to the Lifestone that is situated in Sethanon and release the power in the stone in their mistaken belief that their Goddess would be released. Remember their Goddess was one of the Dragon Lords(can't remember which one) and being a death cult the Pantathains weren't to worried if they died along with everyone else. |
