Been a while since I read it. Philosopher's Stone is the only Potter book I've read. I thought it was nice and readable, if simplistic. The only surprise was the traitor-teacher, whose name I forget.

I disliked the ending. I thought it was bolted on because in magic land the goodies never lose. I know it's for kids, but why not let Slytherin[sp] win the House Cup? Harry et al. saved the day and did the right thing.

Hmm. Maybe I should read the others. I'm in two minds about it.
