Clever little piece. It could use some tweaking here and there, and a few grammatical corrections, but a nice blend of horror and humor. My main objection would be verisimilitude... unless we're dealing with a genuine corpse, this doesn't take into account the very basic fact of embalming procedures... a something so pervasive that it takes away somewhat from an enjoyment of the piece, unfortunately. If you could somehow suggestively hint at a way around that difficulty, I think it would actually make the piece work much better.... |
