Yes, very briefly at a signing. He talked for 45 minutes and then signed books (and, slightly intrigued at the trouble the attendee took to bring it some distance, the board game as well).
I've met GRRM's significant other, Parris, several times (she's free to come to fan meetings and that sort of thing whilst George is busy writing the actual books). She is very cool and heavily into SF&F fandom, and has some great anecdotes about various authors that are very interesting (if possibly too libelous to repeat here). |
