Re: Martin update

During the long (oh my god, it was long!) 5 year wait between A Storm of Swords & A Feast for Crows, GRRM on his official site, posted several (maybe as many as 10??) sample chapters over the last 2 years or so, but as each new one was posted, the previous one was replaced. The current one is a Dany sample and will probably stay on until A Dance with Dragons is released.
He also released a short excerpt in Dragon Magazine called "The Arms of the Kraken" which I read. This was mainly The Prophet and The Kraken's Daughter chapters from AFfC, though.

I think as those earlier samples had been in the 'public domain' he released those chapters in a seperate booklet when AFfC was released.
I'm afraid I can't remember it's name though...it may have actually been called A Feast for Crows preview booklet or something...? (though it was now actually ADwD preview!)
Raven will when he sees this thread. I think he's even got one!

Re: Martin update

I think he was a soldier at the castle Lancel was given after the war...........
I'm sure we hear him talking with Jamie when he comes to see his cousin...
he just says "bugger me I didn't" or F**ck me no".....etc

Really funny guy
