I think this would be a good choice but - unfortunately - Gateway just doesn't seem to drum up the same kind of support from the money men that Dune does. Personally, I'd like to see something like Julian May's
Saga of the Exiles brought to the silver screen. Just think of all that luscious prehistoric Europe (including the gypsum plains that were to become the Mediterranean) that the FX guys could create with their CGI
