Well TK, while Patton was admirable in his ability to maintain military discipline and prepare a large force for battle.. his ability to actually engage an enemy wasnt quite what popular culture make him out to be....so that borders on an insult...hee.
Boaz- Was Stark capitalized on purpose? We know that Stannis' host was defeated at Kings Landing because of the Tyrells' deception, but part of the reason was they lacked discipline. A large portion of the host was those lords that quickly renounced Renly. If someone will desert your cause while standing on a sunlit field and eating peaches, Im sure theyll desert you when faced with unquenchable fire and restless spirits. No point to that, just commenting how Catelyn was correct.... |
