Wolf or Lion? Dragon or Stag? Just for a little bit of fun, I thought I'd start a poll to see who amongst us identified with which of the Great Houses of Seven Kingdoms. Are you a Stark loyalist? Do you like the Lannister's style? Would you like to have a quiet mead or two with the Baratheon boys? Or do you secretly sew dragon banners in your solar? Perhaps it is someone entirely different to whom you are devoted.... I think I am a Stark man, myself. I love Eddard, and the honour for which he and his House stands. My favourite ongoing character is Davos, but there is no way I could follow Stannis. And though I do love Jaime, I'd never ally myself with Tywin. And Dany just annoys me, so the Targs are out. So Stark it is.

Re: Wolf or Lion? Dragon or Stag? I went for 'Other'. I'm too much of a lone wolf (pun intended!) to follow a house so it's a Hedge Knight's life for me, that or the Brotherhood without Banners (pre UnCat! ). Even the wildlings would suit me better - although it looks bloody cold up there! Those kneeler knees of yours much be itching, eh Cul? ![]()

Re: Wolf or Lion? Dragon or Stag? Hedge knight. Right. Robber knight, more like. And the Brotherhood Without Banners? Might as well knight your horse.... Though I must admit the Kingswood Brotherhood does have a certain appeal.

Re: Wolf or Lion? Dragon or Stag? Spare me your Sers - my horse may make a better knight than many who currently hold the title. ![]() Robber Knight seems apt considering the state of Westeros right now. Steal enough and I'll be a Lord like Bronn. ![]()

Re: Wolf or Lion? Dragon or Stag? Cully, was the choice of Other intended as other or The Other? If it is other, then I choose House Mormont. If it is The Other, then I choose House Oakheart... I'd hate to be an undead Mormont, though I suspect we might see the Old Bear as a wight in ADWD.

Re: Wolf or Lion? Dragon or Stag? I voted 'Other', because as someone who has been given a second chance after screwing up badly, I indentify with the men who have had to take the black and serve honorably. 2-way tie for favorite family: The Martells, because Oberyn and the Sand Snakes rule; and Targaryens, because they have DRAGONS!

Re: Wolf or Lion? Dragon or Stag? I picked Lannister and no I do not want to sleep with my sister. Jaime and Tryion are just my favorite characters to read about. Plus, I have a pitiful psychological disorder where I cannot pick the most popular choice due to my desire to be a individual.

Re: Wolf or Lion? Dragon or Stag? I hate to be cliché, but I voted for the Starks. I simply identify with the characters in the Stark family much more. Ned reminds me of my father, Catelyn in many ways reminds me of my mother, who always puts her children before herself, and in some ways all of the boys in that family remind me of my little brother (Rickon not so much as the others).
