The first part is a bit mmm normal. A spaceship gets destroyed... If there isn't anyone on board to care for, the happening tends to lose impact.
The second part makes me wonder: is it set during the second world war or is it set in the same time as the spaceship thing?
Anyway I liked the second part, very Japanese
