What I think people have to accept is that film makers do not set out to make another persons story. They buy the rights to a production - read the blurb - and make up another completly different story that is theirs with their name on it. Personally I would prefer that they had the guts to make their own film with its own title and suffer the inevatble comparasons to the original work that they took insperation - that would feel more honest to me. |
